John R. Daly – Site Manager Evonik Birmingham, AL USA – has 25 years of experience in leadership and technical expert roles, in leading all aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing (drug product and active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing) including EHS, Quality, Business Strategy, and P&L impact driving Revenue and EBITDA. His education includes a B.S. Chemical Engineering from Auburn University and a M.S. Chemical Engineering from the University of Alabama. John began his career with ABB Environmental Systems in Tuscaloosa, AL and then with Ciba-Geigy Specialty Chemicals (now known as BASF) in McIntosh, AL. He then transitioned into pharmaceuticals with Johnson & Johnson (Janssen Pharmaceuticals) in Athens, GA and Wilmington, DE in addition to assignments in Wisconsin, Ireland, Belgium, and Switzerland. John is now Site Manager for Evonik’s Birmingham Laboratories, focused on bioresorbable polymer supply for pharmaceuticals and medical devices and on parenteral (injectable) drug delivery services and manufacturing for other pharmaceutical companies. John’s experience spans pharmaceutical manufacturing, to new product development and introduction, to leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility including site management roles with J&J and Evonik.
