Haley Medved Kendrick (she/her) is the Bronze Valley Accelerator Director with gener8tor, a nationally ranked accelerator platform. Haley is passionate about equitable economic development and building public-private partnerships in Birmingham’s technology sector. Before joining gener8tor, she led teams responsible for training over 700 local aspiring tech professionals with in-demand skills to meet regional employer demand as Executive Director of Innovate Birmingham. Prior to Innovate Birmingham, she served as a Research Fellow in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Center for Outcomes and Effective Research and Education. Haley earned a MA in Sociology from UAB in 2015, and a PhD in Medical Sociology at UAB in 2018.
