Allen Cooley is a Compliance Team Leader at Mississippi Power’s Plant Daniel. He joined Mississippi Power in 2016 as a Chemical Technician at Plant Watson and has since held positions of increasing responsibility across Generation.

During his tenure, Cooley has served as a Senior Maintenance Specialist, where he owned Air and Gas and General Service Water systems. He also held leadership roles as Electrical / I&C Team Leader and Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, building broad operational and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Cooley earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi. He furthered his education by completing a Master of Engineering at The University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Cooley resides in Vancleave, Mississippi, with his wife, Brandy, and their son, Grayson (11). In his free time, he enjoys spending time on the islands and in the woods with his silver Labrador retrievers.
