Nick is an intellectual property attorney with a focus on the biosciences. He has advised life sciences companies, government agencies, and nonprofit institutions on all aspects of intellectual property for their technologies. After earning his Ph.D at Rutgers University in the field of environmental microbiology, Nick was trained at the University of Virginia School of Law. In addition to his private practice, Nick is an adjunct professor at the Cumberland School of Law, Chair of the Biotechnology Committee for the American Intellectual Property Association, and serves on the board of directors for BIO Alabama. He has been named one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in 2020.
