Dr. Sat Balachander is a Licensing Associate at the Harbert Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Sat currently manages over 200 diverse inventions ranging from life sciences to software and medical devices. In his role, he actively assists inventors from the discovery stage all the way up to commercialization, either licensing to companies or through creation of start-ups. He obtained his PhD from Georgia Institute of Technology.
