1. Where will classes for 7 be held?

All classes will be held at MGCCC Hospitality Resort Management Center at 420 Debuys Rd, Biloxi, MS 39531.
 

2. Where can I park?

Enter via Debuys Rd. You will enter the south parking lot. You may park on the north, east and south side of the Hospitality Resort Management Center.  Parking is also available across the street on the west.
 

3. What is the attire for 7?

Attire for the event is casual.
 

4. Who can attend 7?

7 is an open enrollment opportunity for Mississippi Power Company employees.
 

5. Are guests or spouses able to attend 7?

No.
 

6. Do I have to register to participate?

Yes. Online registration will remain open until May 29.
 

7. Is there same day on-site registration?

No.
 

8. If I didn’t get to register for the class I wanted, is there a waiting list?

You can return to the registration website to see if spaces become available.
 

9. I registered, but now I am not able to attend. Can someone else attend in my place?

If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration through the registration website. Your cancellation will allow someone else to attend.
 

10. Will meals be provided during the day?

Yes. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided each day. Please register through the registration website for breakfast and lunch, to ensure we can have a proper headcount.
 

11. How do I get a copy of my schedule?

Return to the website and select “My Agenda” to view your schedule.
 

12. What if I do not live on the coast?

Discuss with your supervisor what classes you would like to attend. Any expenses associated with your participation in 7 is a business unit expense, including overnight accommodations. If overnight accommodations are necessary, you are responsible for your own hotel reservations. Refer to the Southern Company Online Travel Tool (SCOTT) for the list of preferred hotels.
 

13. If I am unable to attend 7, will classes or materials be available virtually?

At this time, there are no plans to offer 7 virtually this year. Be sure to check out the e-learning courses available on the Career Development website in mySOurce.
 

14. Will 7 be held at another location this year?

No, this will be the only 7 offering this year.
