Susan LaBarge currently serves as Technology Planning Analyst in the Information Management Office, Technology Services organization where she is responsible for data literacy, strategy, project management, and business analysis supporting the Information Management Office.
Susan began her career with Southern Company Services in 2011 in the Requirements Center of Excellence. In 2017, she was the Program manager for the Enterprise Technology Strategy in the Office of the CIO organization. In 2018, Susan helped to stand up the Digital Labor Center of Excellence for Robotic Process Automation.
She holds two bachelor’s degrees through a Dual Degree Engineering Program with Specialization in Software Development. BS in Physics from the College of Charleston and Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition, she holds Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certifications.
She has a passion for Data, Analytics, and AI and enjoys sharing information about Generative AI to spark capabilities in others. The Data Literacy program and the efforts of the Information Management Office have inspired Susan to pursue multiple courses in Prompt Engineering and teaching Generative AI and Prompt Engineering.
